  1. Sir/ Madam,
    In patients OP ticket there is no place for Our state official language Tamil. Fully occupied by English. It is very much against the state policy. And also people not knowing English find difficult to pick up their Op ticket.
    In our neighborhood states, state language present in all patients records.
    I request you take efforts to implement our state policy

    நன்றி!

  2. Kindly link hmis patient pin number with UHID number or aadhar no or mobile number to create uniform uniquebID which is traceble even without records in any hospital of tamil nadu.
    Patients loss pin number and create new pins.
    digitalise entire hospital records health records and administrative records in a simple but speedy network .

  3. (i) Kindly add Tuberculosis (RNTCP ) diagnostic module in the HMS like NCD module as it will aid in capture of additional TB cases that are missed. This scenario is in Tertiary care hospitals in specialty departments.
    (ii) Patients that are diagnosed but fail to “COLLECT RESULTS” can be flagged in the Lab Module

  4. Recommendations:

    Patient Information Number [PIN]
    ================================
    ->Hospital Code or District Code /YYYYMM/Auto-Generated Numbers [Patients Count]
    Ex: 01/201803/1234567 [15 Digits]

    ->District or Rural Block Code/Hospital Code or Center Code/YYYYMM/Auto-Generated Numbers [Patients Count]
    Ex: 01/31/201803/12345 [15 Digits]

    ->Rural Block Code/District Code/Hospital Code or Center Code/YYYYMM/Auto-Generated Numbers [Patients Count]
    Ex: 01/01/31/201803/123 [15 Digits]

    District Code Referred:

    Block Code Referred:
    https://www.tnrd.gov.in/databases/Blocks.pdf

    Over 15 Digits : Capturing year and month information inside PIN , would help us get yearly and monthly statistics of patients information
    across the hospitals of our state.

    Bio-metric Information System
    ===============================
    ->Keeping the finger print bio-metric devices in hospitals would help us to track the information of patients
    by link it with Aadhar records

    ->Primarily , instead asking the details from the patients , we can fetch Name , age , gender and address from Aadhar Records.

    ->It would help us to , reduce the complexity in collecting patient information in OP.

    ->Also it would be helpful to support law & order department by crime cases and trauma cases etc.

    ->It is quite difficult procedure to implement along with the cost of afford for this proposal , however if we would been implemented ,

  5. What if patient without Aadhar came to hospital ?

    Over initial phase of application , we will capture patient records manually by making the “Aadhar Number” as an optional one or not as an mandate field.

    Later we ll implement this , in our future enhancements.

  6. Respected Sir/Madam,
    An intense pleasure to introduce myself , a software engineer pitched into bridging technology to our society.

    Suggestion / Recommendations:

    Patient Information Number [PIN]
    ===========================
    ->Hospital Code or District Code /YYYYMM/Auto-Generated Numbers as Patients Count.

    Ex: 01/05/201803/12345 [15 Digits]

    ->Rural Block Code/District Code/Hospital Code or Center Code/YYYYMM/Auto-Generated Numbers as Patients Count

    Over 15 Digits : Capturing year and month information inside PIN , would help us get yearly and monthly statistics of patients information
    across the hospitals of our state.
    If we would have increment 15 to 18 digits as PIN for would help us to capture
    Rural Block Code , District Code , Hospital Code along with Year and Month Information and auto generated code for patients would help us to segregate and identify the patients from which block or district .
    The more we drill-down the data , the more we good with statistics.
    It would be helpful during any specific viral/bacterial/flu infectious patients over specific region and period , the records statistical data over respective region would be helpful to us.

    Bio-metric Information System
    =========================
    ->Keeping the finger print bio-metric devices in hospitals would help us to track the information of patients by link it with Aadhar records.
    ->Primarily , instead asking the details from the patients , we can fetch Name Age , gender and address from Aadhar records.
    ->It would help us to , reduce the complexity in collecting patient information in OP.
    ->Also it would be helpful to support law & order department by crime cases and trauma cases etc.

    Is Aadhar required or mandate for patients who stepped into hospitals ?
    Of course not , over initial phase and development , we don’t need to make it as mandate one , instead we keep it as an optional one.
    Later we ll implement this over future enhancements of our portal.
    Or
    We can segregate the patient registration procedure via bio-metric finger print capture and without aadhar via manual feed of data into our portal.

    It is quite difficult procedure to implement along with the cost of afford for this proposal , however if it we would been implemented ,
